Our SMCO Lion's Mane Extract: We use Lion's Mane mushrooms grown right here at Southern Mushroom Company and prepare our own dual-extracted Lion's Mane to infuse into our honey. This extraction process is used to capture and extract a broader range of the mushroom's naturally occurring compounds to infuse into our honey VS non-extracted using dried mushroom powder. This is a key element in our high-quality honey that is often not done in lower-quality commercial products.

A Naturally Lovely Flavor: Lion's Mane is a wonderfully gentle, neutral-tasting mushroom. A Little Separation Is Normal: You may occasionally notice some natural separation or settling of mushroom particles within your honey. This is completely normal and simply part of working with real ingredients. Give your honey a good stir or gentle whip to bring everything back together before enjoying.
Honey Can Naturally Crystallize: Over time, honey may thicken or crystallize. This is a natural characteristic of honey and does not affect quality. To soften it again, place your jar in a warm water bath and allow it to gently warm until it returns to your preferred consistency. Never microwave your honey. Gentle warming helps preserve its health benefits.
